Movie Knight

An android app where users can look up information about the latest movies, create lists about movies they watched and want to watch, and make events to watch movies with their friends.

Responsibilities

  • Developed the front-end to produce a user-friendly GUI using Java and XML in Android Studio.

    • Created Navigation Drawer

    • Used different activities and layouts to design various pages including using fragments to implement tabs within a page

  • Implemented multithreading and networking to fetch user data from MySQL database, for users
    to communicate with each other, and to retrieve current movie data online.
